Lamp Recycling

LEI began as a lamp recycler in 1994, utilizing the System 2000 recycling unit.  This unit was used until 2012, when LEI purchased and began operating the Balcan Lamp Recycling unit.   This unit allows for clean, multi-feed recycling of linear, compact, and crushed lamps.

LEI's Balcan unit operates as an exempt recycling system for universal and hazardous lamp waste.  This allows LEI's Recycling Facility to accept lamp waste meeting the universal or hazardous waste determination.
